Sculpture Garden at Kentuck Knob

Frank Lloyd Wright's exquisite designs

Take a tour of  Frank Lloyd Wrights beautiful houses in nearby PA. Both Falling Water and Kentuck Knob are within an hour of the B&B and well worth a trip.

Falling water (considered to be one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s masterpieces) is nestled within the wooded Bear Run Nature Reserve between the quaint villages of Mill Run and Ohiopyle. You cannot help but be impressed with its open walkways and unexpected views of the trees and water – a house truly designed to be in harmony with nature.  It is a timeless monument to organic architecture at its absolute best

Tours are held daily (except Wednesdays) from mid- March to Thanksgiving weekend in November. Advance reservations are required.

Cost of the tour is $20 per person. They have other tours such as the Sunset Tour or the Brunch Tour, both of which are $115. We can prepare a picnic lunch for you for a lot less. Closed on Wednesdays. Please call 724-329-8501 for reservations.

After taking in Falling Water, you could drive another half hour to visit Kentuck Knob (also designed by Frank Lloyd Wright). This house was designed by the architect for the Hagans of ice cream fame. The sculpture garden on the grounds is also worth the trip. The cost to view Kentuck Knob is $18 and again requires advance reservations.
